Dana is a path of joy
Dana (pronounced like Donna) is the Pali word for generosity or giving of any sort - time, energy, care, material goods, money... It is a powerful practice that can free the heart from constriction and isolation.
Everything that lives relies upon giving, receiving and sharing. Some people also call this a gift economy. Everything here is gifted as a way to remind us that life itself is gifted to us.
